Faculty of Animal Science, one of faculty in UGM has visions to become reference in the field of Animal Science, which is world class standardized, innovative and excellent, to meet national interest and humanism with spirits of values of Indonesia five principles (Pancasila) and cultures with noble morals.
In efforts to achieve the visions, the Faculty of Animal Science provides information in this website, especially information associated with the Three Duties of College (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi) and information for alumni.
Moreover, in reaching the aspiration, the Faculty of Animal Science makes efforts to internalize values we call SAPTA PESONA Diri Civitas Akademika Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Gadjah Mada (Seven self-Views of Academicians of Faculty of Animal Science UGM). It consists of honesty is my breath; discipline is my attitude; responsibility is my soul; high enthusiasm is my blood; critical thinking is my habit; courtesy is my culture; and real work is my pride.
71 lecturers, who are competent in their fields, 75% of them have doctorate degree and 92 academic staffs support the Faculty of Animal Science UGM. With serious work and solid collaboration between academicians, we hope we are successful in bringing the Faculty of Animal Science UGM to be national reference in Animal Science and World Class Faculty of Animal Science.
