Department of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science

This department consists of four laboratories:

1. Nutritional Biochemistry Laboratory

1. This laboratory has the responsibility in biochemistry and animal nutritional disciplines. The laboratory is led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Lies Mira Yusiati, SU., IPU. It is equipped with chemical, enzyme, and microbiology analysis equipment units from feedstuffs and animal products. Lecturers at the Nutrition Biochemistry Laboratory are:

2. Forage and Pasture Science Laboratory

This laboratory has the responsibility of the forage, pasture, and animal nutrition disciplines. The laboratory is led by Dr. Ir. Bambang Suhartanto, DEA., IPU. The laboratory is facilitated with experimental and production gardens, collections of forages, and equipped with equipment units for measuring feed quality. 3. Animal Nutrition Laboratory

This laboratory has the responsibility of animal feed ingredients and animal nutrition disciplines. The laboratory is led by Ir. Nanung Danar Dono, S.Pt., M.P., Ph.D., IPM. The chemical analysis which includes constituent components, anti-quality, minerals, and energy components of feed ingredients can be done in this laboratory. 4. Feed Technology Laboratory

This laboratory has the responsibility of animal nutrition and feeds technology disciplines. The laboratory is led by Ir. Cuk Tri Noviandi, S.Pt., M.Anim.St., Ph.D., IPM. This laboratory is equipped with various equipment for improving the quality of feed such as pelletizing machines, grinders, crushers, and mixers. It is also equipped with the unit of feed quality control analysis that can analyze both physically, chemically, biologically, and enzymatically. Lecturers at the Feed Technology Laboratory are:
