FAS UGM Sent Donation to Lombok

As a form of concern for others, the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM sent donation to earthquake victims in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, on Friday (31/8). Total donation of Rp56,532,600.00 was realized in the form of staple foods, new clothes and tarpaulin. Goods donations are new and appropriate clothing, bags, food, and others.

“Thank you to the donors, both from individuals and organizations. Hopefully it can ease the burden of our brothers in Lombok. The assistance will be distributed through the academic community of the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Mataram,” the Dean of FAS UGM said, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU when releasing donation which will be sent directly by the staff of FAS UGM. read more

FAS UGM Receives 46 RPL Participants of Engineer Study Program

Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM received 46 Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL) participants of Engineer Study Program on Monday (27/8) at the FAS UGM campus. The RPL participants came from the faculty of animal science of some universities namely UGM, UNS, Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Kanjuruhan, Universitas Halu Oleo, UNPAD, and private institutions.

“Currently, the livestock industry has developed rapidly which involves other professions. In the production process, engineering is needed and this is where supporting gaps occur. With this engineering profession program, it is hoped that it can help overcome this gap,” the Dean of FAS UGM said, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU, when giving a remark at the reception ceremony of RPL participants. read more

FAS UGM Graduates Are Encouraged To Be Entrepreneurs

Graduates of the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM are encouraged to have an entrepreneurial spirit due to a good prospect of livestock. Livestock products which are basic needs are now a strategic issue.

“Livestock is now at industrial scale. The rapid development in the cultivation sector is an opportunity that must be taken by graduates. In fact, there are now many students who have started entrepreneurship,” said the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Commemorating the 49th Anniversary, FAS UGM Enthusiastically Welcomes The 4.0 Industrial Age

Rapid technological development especially IT must be anticipated and utilized. Therefore, the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM carries the theme of Livestock Welcoming the Industrial Age 4.0. in commemoration of the 49th anniversary.

This was revealed by the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU, when opening the 49th Anniversary commemoration on Sunday (26/8) on the campus of FAS UGM. “Technology development is a necessity. FAS UGM Students Join International Summer Session in Korea

Two Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) students, Veronika Yusvita (2014) and Lina Nur Handriati (2014) became the delegates for Chonnam National University International Summer Session (CNUISS 2018) on June 26-July 23, 2018 at Chonnam National University, Gwangju, South Korea .

“CNUISS 2018 is a place for students from various countries to exchange ideas and build international networks,” Veronika said. Together with 130 delegates from Australia, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Korea, Spain, America and other countries, Veronika and Lina participated in class teaching and cultural tours. read more
