New students are expected to understand the agenda of activities in the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM, especially extracurricular. Commemorating Nusantara Milk Day, BEM of FAS UGM Held Open Donation

In commemoration of Nusantara Milk Day, Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM Student Executive Board (BEM) held an open donation event in Bantul on Sunday (12/8). Bantul residents who take morning exercises in the car free day session in front of Bantul Market donate money exchanged for a glass of fresh milk.

This donation activity is one of a series of activities for Langkah Kita Susukan Indonesia (Laktasi). “In addition to commemorating Nusantara Milk Day, this activity also aims to familiarize the culture of drinking milk for early childhood. The donations collected will be given to the Muhammadiyah Nanggulan Orphanage, Kulon Progo,” said Angger M Ghozwan Hanif, Chairman of the Fas UGM BEM when he was interviewed at the FAS campus on Wednesday (15/8). Faculty of Animal Science UGM Held Training on Sacrificial Animal Slaughter

The Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM held slaughter training of sacrificial animals on Tuesday-Wednesday, August 14-15, 2018 at the FAS UGM Auditorium. The training that is held every year is the 4th training and is attended by the people from DIY and outside DIY.

“Livestock is not only about producing good livestock, but the concept of ASUH (Safe, Healthy, Undamaged, and Halal) must be considered from the beginning,” said Vice Dean for Finance, Assets and Human Resources of FAS UGM, Prof. Ir.
