FAS UGM Received 13 Credit Earning Participants

Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM received 12 credit earning participants from Universitas Andalas and 1 student from Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. In this program, participants take lectures at FAS UGM for 1 semester by joining a selection in advance at their respective universities.

FAS UGM and PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Held The Second Work Based Academy

Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM in collaboration with PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa held a second Work Based Academy (WBA) program on February 3-7, 2020 at the FAS UGM.

“WBA applies a learning model to improve entrepreneurial competence and spirit. This program is a bridge for selected scholars to enter the ”camp” and after that join the industrial world for 2 months. FAS UGM- Faculty of Agriculture Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University Establish Cooperation

The Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM and the Faculty of Agriculture of the Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University collaborate in the fields of education, research, and community service. The memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday (1/27) at the FAS UGM campus.

Introducing the Internship Program, NTCA Visited FAS UGM

In order to introduce the internship program in Australia, the Northern Terrritory Cattlemen’s Association (NTCA) visited Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM on Thursday (1/23). The visit was received by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng.

“By joining the internship program organized by NTCA, we hope that students will get a lot of experience on farms in Australia,” Budi said in his remarks at the NTCA Sharing Session. read more

6 Masters and 3 Doctors Graduated from FAS UGM

A total of 6 Masters and 3 Doctors graduated from the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM on Wednesday (1/22). The mean GPA of graduates for the Master Program is 3.82 and for the Doctoral Program is 3.83.

This was said by the Head of the Doctorate Study Program, Ir. Yuny Erwanto, S.Pt., M.P., Ph.D., IPM when delivering a remark at the graduation ceremony at the FAS UGM campus, Wednesday afternoon.

“The average study period of the Master Program graduates is 2 years 1 month and the average study period of the Doctorate Program graduates is 4 years 0 months. Thus, FAS UGM has graduated 777 Masters and 127 Doctors,” said Yuny. read more
