286 new students of Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM take part in the New Student Successful Learning Training (abbreviated as PPSMB) on August 8 to 9 2018 at FAS UGM. This year’s PPSMB takes the theme of The Real Incredible Generation of Husbandry, shortened to TRIGONA.
Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU said, students are expected to be able to take advantage of their time and opportunity as long as they are part of FAS UGM. “Student time will be filled with academic activities such as lectures and practicum. Please focus on achieving success,” the Dean said when giving a remark at the opening ceremony of PPSMB TRIGONA, Wednesday (8/8) at the FAS UGM.
The Dean added, in addition to being provided with knowledge, students would also be provided with the values contained in the Sapta Pesona Diri of FAS UGM. “Students will be supported by soft skills in the form of values in the Sapta Pesona that will be a life provision,” said the Dean.
FAS UGM PPSMB Coordinator, Dr. Ir. Siti Andarwati, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., said, PPSMB will be filled with various activities, including the introduction of academic activities, introduction of Semi-Autonomus Board (BSO), and Focused Group Discussion with fresh graduates and alumni. “Hopefully, students are motivated and ready to be good learners,” she said.
