A total of 44 graduates of the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM are graduated in the May 2019 period. The graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday (22/5) at the Drh. R. Soepardjo Auditorium.
“Congratulations to all graduates who have completed their studies. After this, you can study further, work in institutions, or become entrepreneurs,” said the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU when giving a remark at the graduation ceremony.
The Dean added, FAS UGM students were not only taught about animal science knowledge but also soft skills.
“There are soft skills that need to be practiced in everyday life, namely Sapta Pesona Diri of FAS UGM which consists of honesty, discipline, responsibility, passionate, critical thinking, politeness, and real work. “The charm is useful as a means for you to enter the workplace,” said the Dean. In this graduation period, the average GPA was 3.07 and 7 graduates achieved cum laude. Until this period, FAS UGM has graduated 5260 undergraduate degrees. (Nadia)
