Alumnus of Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM batch 2014, Nisma Islami Maharani, became the Science Ambassador of the Center for Science and Technology Research (Puspiptek). She was appointed in the 2019 Puspiptek Innovation Festival (PIF) event on 3-6 October 2019.
“Being a Science of Ambassador is a great honor and pride for us as the nation’s successors. As a young face of science, it is necessary to develop more innovative, creative, and motivating ideas for the nation’s successors. We also want people to be aware that technology is very important,” Nisma said when contacted Tuesday (3/11).
Nisma added, Puspiptek activities, one of which is PIF, serves to promote the capacity of science, technology and innovation resources (IPTEKIN) which has become an annual event organized by PUSPIPTEK in collaboration with BPPT, LIPI, BATAN, and the Ministry of Forestry and Living environment.
Nisma along with other Science Ambassador colleagues will be in charge for the next year. She will actively participate in every major Puspiptek event with the Ministry of Research and Technology and Higher Education. (Nadia)
