SLEMAN, KRJOGJA.com – Open house of the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) Universitas Gadjah Mada introduces the modern livestock industry as a high-tech biological industry. The event which was held for 3 days on 26-28 August 2019 was a series of activities of the Lustrum X UGM Faculty of Animal Science, which was attended by high school students, vocational students, and new students of the Faculty of Animal Science 2019.

Participants were given a video profile of the Faculty of Animal Science UGM guided by Ir. Ahmad Romadhoni Suryaputra, S.Pt, M.Sc, Ph.D., IPM (Secretary of the Faculty of Animal Science Study Program) and Animal Husbandry and National Sovereignty material by Muhsin Al Anas, S.Pt (Lustrum X Committee). Also, there was a guest speaker at the Faculty of Animal Science UGM lecturers Dr. Ir. Endy Triannanto, S.Pt., M.Eng., IPM and Dr. Ir. Siti Andarwati, S.Pt., MP., IPM. In order to introduce students to extracurricular activities, the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM held Fapet Expo entitled Aquila on Wednesday (28/8) in the yard of the FAS UGM campus.

“This activity is carried out so that you recognize extracurricular activities that need to be followed. It is important for students to take part in extracurricular activities in order to have many friends with the same passion or interests,” said the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hundreds of high school and vocational high school students from Central Java and DIY gained new insights in the field of animal science in the Open House Program. The visit of high school and vocational students was held on August 26-28, 2019 at the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM.

This event is one of activities in commemorating the 50^th Anniversary of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry UGM with a total of 233 participants. Some students from West Java also attended the event for they were interested in getting animal science knowledge. read more

Animal Science Engineer Study Program Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM received 41 new students in the odd semester 2019/2020.

“Animal Science Engineer Study Program accepted 41 new students of Engineer Study Program with details of 40 students enrolled in the Past Learning Recognition program and 1 student in the regular program. “The implementation of lecture activities is divided into 3 groups with locations at UNSRAT (8 people), Jakarta (10 people), and UGM (23 people),” said Prof. Dr. Ir. To introduce milk and its benefits to the community, the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM held the 2019 Pejuang Susu Nusantara (PSN) event on August 17-September 6, 2019.

“This program is expected to increase milk consumption in Indonesia. The series of PSN 2019 events included Open Recruitment Volunteer, Volunteer School, Election of Milk Ambassadors, Bantul Car Free Day, Lactation in Elementary School, and the Step We Make Indonesia Goes to Selasar (Lactose),” said Moh.
