Faculty of Animal Science (Fapet) UGM participated in IndoLivestock 2024 from July 17-19, 2024, at the Jakarta Convention Center. At this event, Faculty of Animal Science UGM showcased several top innovative products such as Genaglow (the first goat collagen drink in Indonesia), Lowkol (a probiotic milk innovation to lower cholesterol), Lowcose, Dieteic Feed, Immunobooster, Pennisetum purpureum var. Gama umami (a mutation of Pennisetum purpureum irradiated with gamma rays to produce superior grass compared to its parent), Toxin Binder x Fenanza, Fapet EGG, and Sonix.
“This event is attended by various leading companies that play an important role in the livestock industry, covering various fields from feed, technology, animal health, to livestock product processing,” explained Dean of Fapet UGM, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., on Friday (19/7).
Budi added that IndoLivestock 2024 is the largest and most anticipated livestock exhibition in Indonesia.
The exhibition attracts thousands of visitors from various regions in Indonesia and abroad, making it a prime platform for showcasing the latest innovations and sustainable solutions relevant to the livestock industry. Exhibitors take this opportunity to introduce their top products and services, ranging from automated feeding technology, the latest animal medications, to environmentally friendly livestock product processing equipment.
In addition to the exhibition, IndoLivestock 2024 also features a series of seminars and workshops led by experts and practitioners in the livestock industry. This event provides an opportunity for industry players to share knowledge and experiences, as well as discuss challenges and opportunities in the livestock sector. Topics covered include smart farming technology, animal health management, and marketing strategies for livestock products in the digital era.
