Students of Faculty of Animal Science UGM enthusiastically took part in a public lecture on the topic of Biosecurity which was held at the Auditorium drh. R. Supardjo (28/2). The resource person in this public lecture is a team from the Northern Territory, Australia. This activity is part of The Indonesia-Northern Territory Biosecurity Program, which is a cooperation program between Indonesia and the Northern Territory Government, Australia in the field of biosecurity that has been implemented since 2012. In this activity, cooperation programs that have been and will be carried out are also presented.
The activity that has been carried out is an internship in 2022 carried out by 6 students from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry UGM for 3 months on farms in the Northern Territory Government, Australia to learn about biosecurity. It was also conveyed in this public lecture activity, the internship program which will be held in 2023.
Presented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Animal Science UGM, Ir. R. Ahmad Romadhoni Surya Putra., S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., this public lecture is important for students who want to take part in an internship program. “This program is very competitive because the benefits are very good for students.
