The Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM and the Faculty of Agriculture of the Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University collaborate in the fields of education, research, and community service. The memorandum of understanding was signed on Monday (1/27) at the FAS UGM campus.
“Memorandum of mutual understanding is important as a protection of the cooperation. Hopefully the cooperation opportunities that can be explored regarding the quality of graduates or publications can be developed,” said the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU., ASEAN. Eng after signing the memorandum of understanding.
The Dean added, the role of FAS UGM in sharing experiences, information and knowledge can be utilized through this collaboration. Lecturers at the Faculty of Agriculture of Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University can pursue a master’s, doctoral, or engineer program at the FAS UGM.
“Research facilities and infrastructure at the FAS UGM have been completed so that master and doctoral students can graduate on time,” said the Dean.
Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University, Dr. Wahyu Mushollaeni, S.Pi., M.P hoped that the joint memorandum of understanding would advance the Faculty of Agriculture of Tribhuwana Tungga Dewi University.
“We will encourage lecturers for further study of doctoral and engineers program. I ask for advice from the FAS UGM to improve the quality of graduates, research, cooperation, and research,” Wahyu said.
