Student of Faculty of Animal Science UGM Achieves Charoen Pokphand Best Student Appreciation Award

Hastomo Nur Hidayatulloh, student 0f Faculty of Animal Science UGM, received the Charoen Pokphand Best Student Appreciation (CPBSA) award. CPBSA is a scholarship program from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (CPI), awarded to final-year students from various disciplines and universities in Indonesia through a rigorous selection process.

Hastomo explained that the program’s participants comprised 21 students from 16 universities. The series of activities began on May 13 and continued until July 22, 2024.

“One of the components was an internship. I was assigned to PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Feedmill,” Hastomo said on Monday (22/7).

After his placement in the quality control division at PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Feedmill, the activities continued with attending the Indolivestock exhibition and an excursion to Thailand, accompanied by the deans or leaders from each university. Representing Faculty of Animal Science UGM was the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Ir. R. Ahmad Romadhoni Surya Putra, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN Eng.

“The selection process was quite extensive, involving document submission, portfolio review, social media exposure assessment, psychometric tests, interviews, and leaderless group discussions,” Hastomo added.

Through this program, Hastomo gained numerous benefits as all awardees experienced working in the national animal husbandry industry through professional internships in various divisions and subsidiaries of PT CPI.
