Ahmad Romadhoni Surya Putra, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng.; the Head of the Doctoral Study Program in Animal Science, Prof. Ir. Tri Satya Mastuti Widi, S.Pt., MP., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; and the Secretary of the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Dr. Ir. Endy Triyannanto, S.Pt., M.Eng., IPM., ASEAN Eng.

The training featured speakers from the Animal Science Research Center-BRIN, namely Dr. Slamet Hartanto, S.Pt., M.Sc. and M. Ikhsan Shiddieqy, S.Pt., M.Sc. (LPDP Awardee, Ph.D. candidate in the Animal Production Systems Group, Wageningen University and Research). In the first session, Dr. Slamet Hartanto presented material on the use of bibliometric tools such as Vosviewer and Publish or Perish, with hands-on practice to understand research trend mapping and citation analysis. The second session was continued by M. Furthermore, the Chair of the Postgraduate Student Association or Himpunan Mahasiswa Pascasarjana (HMP) for the Doctoral Program, Ir. Rochijan, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM., emphasized that this activity is one of the HMP’s work programs in the fields of science and community service. He hopes that through this training, participants will not only be able to improve the quality of their scientific writing, meeting the standards of reputable journals, but also develop skills in mapping research trends, determining research novelty, and strengthening academic networks through optimal use of bibliometric tools. This can encourage an increase in the quantity and quality of scientific publications, particularly among postgraduate students.

The Chair of the Committee, Wardi, S.Pt., M.Sc., expressed his appreciation for the active participation of all participants. He emphasized that this activity is expected to provide concrete provisions for students in improving the quality of their article writing and utilizing bibliometrics to support research at various levels.
