The Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Gadjah Mada Graduated 21 Students, 42.86% Earn Cum Laude

The Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Gadjah Mada (Fapet UGM) once again graduated its students in the Animal Science and Industry program during the Period II Graduation of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, which took place on Wednesday (25/2). Out of 21 students, 9 graduates, or 42.86%, earned Cum Laude predicate.

The Head of the Animal Science and Industry Program,  Ir. Muhlisin, S.Pt., M.Agr., Ph.D., IPP., extended his appreciation for the graduates’ achievements. “We’re grateful and beyond proud of their achievements. Hopefully, the knowledge they have acquired will make a real contribution to the development of the livestock sector and livestock-based industries in Indonesia,” he said.  

Aside from the 42/86% who achieved Cum Laude predicate, the other 12 students (57.14%) graduated with a Very Satisfactory predicate. Meanwhile, the average cumulative GPA for this period reached 3.50, with an average age of 23 years and 6 months and an average study duration of 4 years and 6 months.

The nine students who earned Cum Laude predicates for this period are Zefanya Mutiara Citra Dewi (GPA 3,90), Vincensia Mariette Puan Kinanti (GPA 3,79), Citra Nur Haliimah (GPA 3,68), Johan Victor Mardianto (GPA 3,67), Tio Kusniawan (GPA 3,67), Zulfa Dewi Nurmawati (GPA 3,61), Dea Anandita (GPA 3,58), Azizah Qurota’ayuni Uchfan (GPA 3,54), and Agus Khusyairi (GPA 3,51). 

As of now, the Animal Science and Industry program has recorded a total of 7,001 graduates, with 3,858 male graduates and 3,195 female graduates.

The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., extended his advice to the graduates to continuously uphold discipline, integrity, ethics, as well as their commitment the moment they get involved in the community.
