The Faculty of Animal Science at UGM graduates 121 students, 45 men and 76 women, on Thursday (28/9). Four of these graduates came from the International Undergraduate Program (IUP).
The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng., stated that graduation marks the beginning of a journey. He expressed his hope that the Faculty of Animal Science graduates would continue to produce meaningful work and innovate after completing their studies.
“Graduation is not the end of the journey. Congratulations, and I am proud of the achievements you have attained,” Budi said in his remarks during the send-off ceremony at the Fapet ASLC Hall.
Budi Guntoro also urged the graduates to always uphold the good name of their alma mater, UGM, in both the professional world and society. He expressed hope that, following graduation, they would pursue the profession of animal science engineer.
“Always hold fast to Pancasila and the good name of your alma mater,” he said.
In this undergraduate graduation ceremony for the 2024/2025 Academic Year (Period IV), Nuha Nabilah Zulma was recognized for the fastest completion time (3 years and 9 months). Maria Hilary Dyahpalupi achieved the highest GPA (3.95), while Silvia Oriza Satifa was the youngest graduate, being only 20 years and 11 months old.
