The Faculty of Animal Science UGM Held an Educational Staff Performance Evaluation, Encouraging a Work Culture of Excellence and Integrity

The Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Gadjah Mada held an Educational Staff Performance Evaluation on Thursday (18/12). This activity served as a moment to reflect on and strengthen the role of educational staff in supporting the implementation of the Higher Education’s Tri Dharma.

The event began with a presentation by the Head of the  Administration Office, or Kepala Kantor Administrasi (KKA), Nurma Diani, S.Pd., MBA., who outlined the faculty’s administrative governance towards an inclusive, independent, and sustainable UGM. Nurma emphasized the importance of regulatory compliance, employee performance management, and strengthening the core competencies of educational staff that are oriented towards service, accountability, and collaboration.

Nurma also conveyed the Faculty’s performance achievements in 2025, which showed positive progress, with 32 of 36 performance indicators achieved. Various human resource development efforts continue through regular training, capacity building, and continuous improvement principles to address the dynamic changes in the VUCA era.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., in his remarks emphasized that this evaluation activity is expected to be able to boost a work culture of excellence and integrity within the faculty environment. According to him, educational staff are a crucial pillar in ensuring that the Higher Education’s Tri Dharma runs smoothly, especially in providing excellent service to students.

The Dean also hoped that all staff at the Faculty would always adhere to the faculty’s vision and mission. He believed that the various training and self-development programs they participated in would provide significant benefits for the sustainable improvement of individual and institutional performance.

The event also launched an employee pocketbook that underlies and supports the sustainability of the Faculty. The event also received attention from all leaders of the Faculty. In addition to the Dean, all vice deans were also present: the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Ir. R. Ahmad Romadhoni Surya Putra, S.Pt., M.Sc. Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng.; the Vice Dean for Finance, Assets, and Human Resources, Ir. Andriyani Astuti, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; and the Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, and Cooperation, Prof. Ir. Yuny Erwanto, S.Pt., MP., Ph.D., IPM.
