The Faculty of Animal Science at UGM is once again distributing free eggs to students taking their Odd Semester Midterm Exams from October 6 to 14, 2025. Nurma Diani, S.Pd., MBA., Head of the Administrative Office at the Faculty of Animal Science at UGM, emphasized that this initiative demonstrates the faculty’s care and commitment to student well-being beyond academics.
“Eggs are a highly nutritious animal product and serve as an excellent source of sustenance before taking an exam,” said Nurma on Monday (6/10).
She added that this regular activity aims to help students feel calmer and more at ease during their exams.
The distribution schedule is as follows: 297 eggs on October 6, 322 on October 7, 296 on October 8, 322 on October 9, 350 on October 13, and 340 on October 14.
Ataya and Adnan, Animal Science students from the Class of 2023, expressed their delight at receiving the free eggs. “I’m happy about it. They taste good and can even serve as a breakfast substitute,” said Ataya.
This egg distribution program also promotes animal products while indirectly educating students about the importance of consuming affordable, healthy animal protein.
