Student Parent Union (POTMA)

Student Parent Union (POTMA) of Faculty of Animal Science UGM was established in 8th November 1992 aiming to:

  1. Make collaboration between similar members in scope of Faculty of Animal Science UGM.
  2. Help Faculty of Animal Science UGM implement Three Services of University
  3. Improve communication among members.
  4. Improve communication to Academicians of Faculty of Animal Science UGM.

As included in Article 1 of bylaws, each parent of student automatically becomes member of Student Parent Union (POTMA) of Faculty of Animal Science UGM.

Especially, students assume the following roles of Student Parent Union (POTMA) in supporting Three Services of University:

  1. Help students facing study time expiration approaching to students, parents, advisors, lecturers, and faculty administrators.
  2. Motivate students suffering from mental illness/stress by approaching/counseling, if necessary, accompanying students to visit Psychologist to get counseling.

Collect fund for students with less research money to finish their undergraduate theses.
