ASEAN International Mobility Students Programs (AIMS) is a program that aims to create dynamic student exchanges between member countries of The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), including Japan, Indonesia, Thailand.
At UGM, this program has been run by the Faculty of Agriculture since 2009 as a pilot project and this year the Faculty of Animal Science is participating in the program.
Dean of Faculty of Animal Science UGM, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU, ASEAN Eng, said that this kind of student exchange is important to build networks both between faculties and between students. “Student mobility is very beneficial for students, as well as faculty, to build networks, as well as to gain new perspectives through discussions with international students. ”
Hopefully, this kind of student exchange activity can be increased in intensity and provide more opportunities for students to get involved. (Secretariat/Prisil).
