Strong will is the main requirement to attend doctorate study program abroad. Besides, a good capability in English is an important knowledge.
It was said by the Head of Office of International Affairs (OIA) Dr. Ir. Endy Triyannanto, S.Pt., M.Eng., Ph.D. in Ngabuburit Bareng Pasca, Thursday (31/5) attended by Posgraduate Student Association at the Faculty of Animal Science UGM. “Based on my experience during the doctorate program in Korea, the first and prominent requirement is a strong will,” Endy said. English is also important for academic and non academic need. “I suggest you to improve your English skill as a knowledge to study abroad,” Endy explainesd.
A lecturer in the in the Laboratory of Meat Science and Technology also socialized Kamis Inggris program which is initiated by the OIA. “I’m sure that Posgraduate Student Association will be the key to promote this program. Please join the program to gain the benefits,” Endy said.
The interactive discussion is a routine agenda of Posgraduate Student Association. The head of the association, Slamet Widodo, said that there will be more activities from Posgraduate Student Association. “Of course with more interesting and constructive themes,” he said enthusiastically. (Nadia)
