After going through a series of selection stages, Muhammad Amirul Bahaudin, a class of 2016 student, was chosen as an outstanding student (Mapres) of the Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM 2018.

“Thank God, through this event I want to be a human being who can spread more benefits so that children in remote areas are more enthusiastic about school and achievement,” he said when contacted via short message application on Thursday (1/11). The student who was born in Ngawi, September 18, 1997, was selected as an outstanding student after presenting his scientific paper entitled Genome-Wide Association Study (GWAS) to Identify SNPs Associated with Carcass Weight Traits in Indonesian Belgian Blue.

Previously, Adin had won several achievements, both at national and international levels. “Some of the achievements that I have achieved include the first poster winner of the Deutsche Wotsche German Film Festival, delegates of Global Korea Scholarships for ASEAN Student, delegates in YouCan Empower for Nation Raja Ampat, and several other achievements,” said Adin.

“With the achievements, I want to be a meaningful person in life and leave the best inheritance for the surrounding,” said Adin.

The assistant of Dairy Animal Science Laboratory is also active in some organizations, including in the Muslim Family of the FAS as the Head of the Syiar Department, Rumah Tumbuh of FAS UGM, and as a marine ambassador of East Java Province. (Nadia)
