Animal Science Engineer Study Program Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM received 41 new students in the odd semester 2019/2020.
“Animal Science Engineer Study Program accepted 41 new students of Engineer Study Program with details of 40 students enrolled in the Past Learning Recognition program and 1 student in the regular program. “The implementation of lecture activities is divided into 3 groups with locations at UNSRAT (8 people), Jakarta (10 people), and UGM (23 people),” said Prof. Dr. Ir. Zuprizal, DEA., IPU as the Head Animal Science Engineer Study Program of FAS UGM when receiving new students of animal science engineers, Monday (26/8) at the FAS UGM campus.
Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU said that the establishment of the Engineer Study Program was a necessity after the issuance of the engineer regulations. Thus, the engineer profession is legal.
“FAS UGM is the first faculty to form the Animal Science Engineer Study Program and will continue to encourage other universities to form an Engineer Study Program. HR development at the national level is very much needed because the engineering profession has the authority to produce animal protein,” said the Dean.
The Dean added, the RPL program is different from the regular program. The RPL program consists of workshops, lectures and materials from UGM. By joining the Animal Science Engineer Program, participants will get a certificate of profession and competence. (Nadia)
