20 lecturers from the Faculty of Animal Science UGM have now been certified by ASEAN Engineering, which are engineers’ certificates that are valid throughout ASEAN. The certificate was handed over on Tuesday (1/10) at the UGM Faculty of Animal Husbandry campus by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU.

“Congratulations to all, with this certificate, we have donated engineer qualifications to Indonesian HR. To improve qualifications, it is necessary to increase the knowledge of skills through workshops so that competency standards increase, “said the Dean when giving a speech at the certificate presentation.

The Dean added, along with the submission of the certificate, an assessment was also conducted for the engineering students of the Past Learning Recognition (RPL) track. In this assessment, qualified human resources are also needed to facilitate the Vocational Engineering (BK) of Animal Husbandry.

“Related to this, BK Animal Husbandry Engineering needs to conduct ongoing training. Hopefully this can be done, therefore cooperation is needed by many parties, “said the Dean.

Head of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Animal Husbandry Professional Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Zuprizal, DEA., IPU revealed that the winner of the ASEAN Engineering degree can become a consultant in the field of engineering engineering in animal husbandry in all ASEAN countries. (Nadia)
