Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM held a seminar for lecturers who have entered the retirement period, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Harimurti, SU and Dr. Ir. Setiyono, SU on Tuesday (7/1) at the Auditorium Drh. R. Soepardjo FAS UGM. The seminar presented the theme “The Role of Livestock in Producing Healthy Food Products”.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Sri Harimurti, SU is a lecturer at the Poultry Science Laboratory of FAS UGM. In the seminar, Prof. Sri Harimurti presented a presentation on “Probiotics of Indonesian Original Lactic Acid Bacteria as Alternative for Antibiotic Growth Promoters in Poultry: Its Role for Intestinal Health and Food Safety for Meat and Eggs”. Meanwhile, Dr. Ir. Setiyono, SU who is a lecturer at the Meat Science and Technology Laboratory presented “Preparing Healthy Meat Products”.
In addition to the two speakers, FAS UGM also invited two speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Zaenal Fanani, MS., IPU from Brawijaya University and drh. Suhardi from PT Kalbe Farma, Tbk.
The seminar was attended by FAS UGM lecturers, colleagues from retirement lecturers, students, and laboratory assistants. In addition to releasing retired lecturers, FAS UGM also released educational staff who entered retirement, namely Nur Supriyanto, B.Sc., Tugas Sujarma, Marwato, and Atika Mujiastuti. (Nadia)
