Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM officially released 211 contingents that will compete in Porsenigama 2018 which will take place on October 20 to December 1, 2018. The contingents are divided into 19 sports and 7 branches of art.
“Congratulations to the athletes who will compete in Porsenigama. The main purpose of this activity is to show the existence that we exist. Secondly, as a venue to show the work that was inspired by Sapta Pesona Diri,” said the Dean of FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU, when he released the Porsenigama contingents on Wednesday (24/10) at the Auditorium of FAS UGM.
The Dean added, sports activities teach students to compete in a healthy manner. “FAS students must be an example, be better, be the leader, and be the winner,” said the Dean.
The representative of 2018 Porsenigama contingent, M Nursahid Fatqullah, said that the contingents would do everything possible. “We ask your blessing and hopefully the spirit of sportsmanship and Sapta Pesona Diri is always echoed in the Porsenigama event,” Nursahid said in his remark. (Nadia).
