Faculty of Animal Science (FAS) UGM welcomed new students of Postgraduate Program on Wednesday (8/8) at the FAS UGM meeting room. A total of 17 people were accepted into the Master Program and 1 person was accepted into the Doctoral Program.
Dean of the FAS UGM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ali Agus, DAA., DEA., IPU said that postgraduate students are expected to be integrated with the laboratory so that interaction with the advisor can run well. “Students are expected to be in the laboratory to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In addition, it is in order to create good knowledge transfer and increase productivity,” the Dean said when giving a remark at the student introduction session.
The Dean added, FAS UGM has sufficient facilities and strategic partners to support learning activities. “Thus, we hope students can graduate quickly and maintain quality,” the Dean said. (Nadia)
