Innovation and Collaboration, Important Points for Entrepreneurs

Innovation and collaboration are two important things in entrepreneurship. The innovation that is needed is one that is able to answer the problems of the community and not necessarily something sophisticated.

“The key is to create products that are relevant and customer-driven. Tongsis, for example, is a simple tool but is successful in the market because it can meet people’s needs for selfie,” said a young lecturer at the Faculty of Animal Science UGM, Satyaguna Rakhmatulloh, S.Pt., M.Sc. Saturday (8/12) at the Politeknik LPP in Yogyakarta.

The lecturer who is also the owner of the Kefir Ready To Drink brand “Kefira” added, collaboration is an important thing for every entrepreneur. Cooperation can be done by cooperating with companies or other business partners to support existence, create innovation, and foster togetherness of fellow entrepreneurs.

“For beginners, the willingness and intention is needed to sharpen their collaborative skills as early as possible, for example when they were students. A simple example is to be a volunteer or join an organization, so that in time you can find partners with different backgrounds to become co-founders so you can complement each other in creating a pilot business,” said Guna.
