A total of 107 students from the Faculty of Animal Science Universitas Gadjah Mada(UGM) officially graduated at the Undergraduate Graduation Ceremony for the second period of the 2022/2023 academic year at Grha Sabha Pramana (22/2). This is the highest number of graduates since the establishment of the Faculty of Animal Science UGM in 1969. After the ceremony at GSP, the graduates attended a thanksgiving and farewell event at the ASLC Building, Faculty of Animal Science UGM.
The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science UGM, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence for entering the workforce after completing undergraduate studies in his speech. “Emotional intelligence can be developed by actively participating in organizations during your time as a student. This means that the more you interact with many people, the more emotionally mature you become and less prone to overthinking. This is also important in the workplace when working with many people,” said Prof. Budi Guntoro. (Secretariat/Prisil).
