Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN Eng., pushes for the graduates of Fapet UGM to supervise government programs in the food sector. It was emphasized by the dean at the graduation ceremony of bachelors and applied bachelors in the ASLC Hall, Fapet UGM, Wednesday, May 28th 2025.

The Faculty of Animal Science of Universitas Gadjah Mada (Fapet UGM) and Toros Farm officially hold a strategic cooperation deal with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday, May 28th 2025. The two party MoU aimed to increase the human resources capacity in the livestock product production sector. This cooperation emphasized on the synergy between academicians and the industry, namely in the organizing of technical training and certification of professional halal butcher.

The Dean of Fapet UGM, Prof. Ir. Budi Guntoro, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., ASEAN Eng., said that the faculty will give assistance in the form of professional and field supervisor in every training session. “We will prepare lecturers and experienced instructors to ensure that the participants receive adequate theories and practices,” said him.
